Yes, it is the longest day of the year. Actually, it’s no longer than a normal day, it will just be light out for slightly longer than it was yesterday and will be tomorrow.

For non-Christians, this is a high holy day. I hope everyone can join me and the rest of the Democratic Party tonight at sunset (8:33 PM) in the Thomas Paine plaza for the annual solstice virgin sacrifice.
