Depressing Photo Exhibition
Between the old city of Montreal and the college crazy town a little farther north, there lies Chinatown. There’s some good cheap food there, but that’s not what I’m writing about. A little farther north of Chinatown, there’s a bunch of crazy sleazy strip clubs. But still, I don’t really care about all that. Just past all that mess, but before college world there’s a couple blocks of random shit. Nestled in the heart of this, just past a comedy club is the 2006 World Press Photo exhibition. It’s there until sometime late this month.
For a measly $5 Canadian, one was free to view 500 of the most wretchedly depressing photographs taken in 2005. Highly recommended.
